We're kicking the luxury up a notch today and at the same time introducing a new watch brand to The Watch Scene family. That's right, it's about time we got around to
reviewing Hublot watches, they being one of the finest Swiss watchmakers of the modern generation. Today we will be looking at the out-of-this-world-looking Hublot Big Bang All Black Watch. This watch is like nothing you've ever seen before, and we must say like nothing we've ever reviewed before either. We'll get back to it very soon, but first a quick word about Hublot watches in general. Hublot is a veritable baby when it comes to Swiss watch companies ? it was set up just over 30 years ago in 1980. But in that relatively short space of time the company has gone on to become one of the leading lights in the game. Let's see how and why that happened. Carlo Crocco was known for creating the first natural rubber strap in the history of watchmaking back in the 1970s. It took 3 years of research to create the strap. Despite failing to attract a single potential customer on the first day of its debut at the 1980 Basel Watch Fair, it quickly proved to be a commercial success with sales in excess of $2m in its first year.
